  <title>Upcoming changes for ATVFRONTIER.com</title>
  <link>http://atvfrontier.com/News/article/sid=413.html</link>
<description>Greetings from the ATVFRONTIER staff! We hope the holidays found you well and that you&#039;re getting ready for a fantastic summer of riding. Some of you are dreaming of new quads, and some of you have been whittling and welding in your shop on new mods. We too have been busy here at the Frontier; we&#039;re cleaning out the garage, sweeping the floor, and changing out the calendars on the wall. With this spring-cleaning, we are proud to announce the new addition of Ben Everitt to the Frontier team.

Ben and I have been working hard on re-evaluating what is and isn&#039;t working well here on ATVFRONTIER and planning and designing the ALL NEW ATVFRONTIER home we will be announcing in the upcoming months. Some changes we would like to currently share are that we&#039;re adding onto our lineup of vendor forums to formally include RUVs, Argos and Rokons.

These machines are increasing in popularity and we want to be the official home of these great machines. We have several reviews that we will be adding to our collection very soon.

Next we would like to share our completely redesigned ATVFRONTIER trademark. The new logo should be a great indicator of the direction ATVFRONTIER is headed. We want to represent our sport with enthusiasm, safety, and fun in mind. With that said we believe that along with the new logo that &quot;ride.&quot; personifies everything ATVFRONTIER is about. We hope you do to!

We will be soon creating our own lineup of apparel that will be available for sale soon with the new logo. So get ready to show off your frontier attitude; now get out there and ride.

Oh, and be on the look out for further announcements of some incredible changes coming to ATVFRONTIER here in the near future.......more to come!

  <title>Triworks Industries ATV Riser Review</title>
  <link>http://atvfrontier.com/News/article/sid=412.html</link>
  <description>.
.
.

MeYammy has submitted a review of the ATV Riser by Triworks Industries:

...Recently, I had the opportunity to try out a TriWorks Industries ATV Truck Box Riser. In short, I am very happy that I did....With my KingQuad loaded into a standard 6.5’ box, I could very easily closed the tailgate, making the load even that much more secure....After my experience with the TriWorks Industries ATV Truck Box Riser, I would recommend this unit to anyone wishing to make safer use of a short box truck for hauling an ATV. If you want more storage capacity in the back of your truck, instead of the ATV taking up all of the room, use the ATV Riser to make extra room for coolers, tools, generators, spare tire, or anything else that you need some extra room for. I loaned it to a friend who wanted to see if his Yamaha EF3000 generator would fit beneath the front of his 700 Grizzly when loaded in the back of his truck. With the ATV Truck Box Riser, he has ample clearance, and is now going to purchase a Riser himself so that he does not have to load his generator in the living space of his RV whenever he goes camping...

  <title>2009 Can-Am Renegade 800R review</title>
  <link>http://atvfrontier.com/News/article/sid=411.html</link>
  <description>.
.
.

Speedracer has submitted this excellent review of the 2009 Can-Am Renegade 800R:

...The Renegade is built with more speed in mind than other typical 4x4 ATVs. It reminds me somewhat of current model dirt bikes, and I&#039;m comparing it to the 2008 KTM 530 EXC-R, and the 2007 KTM 300 XC-W, and the 2006 YZ 450F I have had. None of those bikes worked real well at slow speeds. Try to ride one of them in first gear and they felt top heavy, didn&#039;t have good stability, and didn&#039;t turn all that well either. Increase speed to at least second gear, or better yet third gear, and they totally change their character, and suddenly handling is spot on perfect, and everything flows perfectly, while the effort needed to ride them correctly decreases exponentially. They are meant to go fast, not slow. The Renegade feels somewhat like that as well. The engine of the 800 R has a very pronounced lope at idle and just above idle, because of the top end cam, and it doesn&#039;t run all that smooth unless you&#039;re in the throttle, and then it runs very strong. The suspension is stiff at slow speeds. But as speed increases the Renegade starts to work the way it was meant to work, and just keeps getting better as speed increases. The thing that impresses me the most about the Renegade is the incredible precision that it can be ridden with at high speed. I have put 500+ miles on the Renegade so far, and one of the trail rides was on a trail in the mountains of central Utah that was a tight and twisty, steeply uphill trail that had a water dam jump every 100 feet. The trail was in heavy oak brush and Juniper trees, and was narrow enough that there was only about 3&quot; of clearance between the sides of the ATV, and the trees and rocks on the side of the trail. I was absolutely amazed at how the Renegade could be ridden 100% wide open for several miles over jumps, around turns, through rocks, and all the while being in perfect control, while missing trees and rocks by mere inches. It felt perfect, with no near misses or close calls. At moderate to higher speeds the Renegade goes exactly where it is pointed, and you can put the tires exactly where you want them to be with pin point precision. Powerslides are simple, and it isn&#039;t a matter of whether you want it to slide or not, but rather, how much you want it to slide, and for how long and at what speed. The Renegade 800 R flat out rips in the right terrain...

<title>ODI Grips Custom Clamps Now Available</title>
  <link>http://atvfrontier.com/News/article/sid=410.html</link>
<description>If you haven’t already picked up a set of ODI Lock-On Grips, you’re definitely missing out. The ability to change your grips and have them ready to ride in seconds is something that riders all over the world have been searching after for a long time.

ODI &#039;s patented clamp technology locks onto a plastic tube molded inside of a soft grip. The tube allows your grips to slide easily onto the handlebar and the grips are secured into place via the clamps on either end. That&#039;s it. No messy glues or wire ties needed for 100% slip free grips. The grips can also be replaced in a matter of seconds without having to waste time cleaning old glue from the bars.

Until now, the Lock Jaw clamps have only been available one color. The folks over at ODI understand that customization is key and so they’ve introduced 8 new clamp colors. Now you can customize your grips with your choice of 8 additional anodized colors, including: black, graphite, blue, red, purple, orange, green and even gold!

New ODI clamp colors definitely put the extra style to your bike you’ve been missing. Don’t hesitate and get some today!
For more information visit www.odigrips.com or contact at ODI Grips 1850-C Massachusetts Ave Riverside, CA 92507 and by telephone at 951-786-4755.

  <title>Velocity Devices: Copperhead ECU Review</title>
  <link>http://atvfrontier.com/News/article/sid=409.html</link>
<description>Velocity Devices: Copperhead (Engine Control Unit) ECU

by

Shane Arnold
www.atvfrontier.com

Introduction:

When I purchased my 2007 Grizzly 700 EFI I was immediately impressed with the vast improvements that had been made to it. One area that I was immediately disappointed in though was the lack of low-end grunt. To say that after just a few rides I noticed that the new Grizzly 700 EFI seemed somewhat tame would be a gross understatement. This is where Velocity Devices (VDI) came to the rescue and allowed the “fire” of the 700 EFI to be ignited...........

  <title>Aaen&#039;s Mega Power Exhaust</title>
  <link>http://atvfrontier.com/News/article/sid=408.html</link>
<description>Aaen Performance’s Mega Power Exhaust Review

by

Scott Monroe
(www.atvfrontier.com)

In 1975 Aaen Performance was started (Parts Inc), specializing in engine modifications for snowmobiles. Their first ATV products were pipes and engine mods for the 250 Polaris Quad back in the mid-eighties. All of their exhaust products are developed, tested and manufactured in-house.

Since 1978 they have been using professional Dyno and field test procedures that equal or exceed the factory standards. Because their products are manufactured in-house in smaller runs, Aaen’s can react quickly and correct any problem areas related to fit, finish and material as well as performance issues.

They are constantly developing and improving both durability and performance. The Aaen&#039;s Outlander 800 Mega Power exhaust is a great example of this dedication to continuous improvement in their products!
