News Help Get Canadian ATV Show Off the Ground
Posted by Ronin on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 (09:50:29) (577 reads)

The makers of the Canadian snowmobiling TV show Snowtrax TV are considering the creation of a similar show about ATVing.  One of our members, KoolKim, had contacted them and recently received a reply from the show's host, John Massingberd.

"I would be interested to know if there are more potential viewers like yourself out there, letters such as your are good to show sponsors and television networks. Are you part of a club,or do you know fellow riders that could send us more letters of support? These can be invaluable in our meetings with sponsors and broadcasters alike."

You can read about it here and find out how to get in touch and show support from the ATV Frontier membership.

News Bruin 350 vs. Outlander 330 Shootout
Posted by CanadianViking on Monday, March 08, 2004 (20:08:31) (1073 reads)

Yamaha’s Bruin 350 4x4 sells for a remarkable $4999. This makes it one of the better bargains out there in the entry-level four-wheel drive market. Bombardier introduced an all-new Outlander 330 H.O. for the 2003 season and it sells for a suggested retail price of $5499.

What we wanted to know was, when you compared these two machines head-to-head, in a price, value and feature shootout, how would they fare against one another? To find out, we packed up both machines and headed out to one of our favorite industrial-strength torture test courses.

News Small is Beautiful...ATV Shootout at ATVNews.com
Posted by CanadianViking on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 (09:30:53) (1119 reads)

For many ATVers, the answer is no. They’ll stick with one of these “entry-level” work/play machines for a long time. In fact, these quads are so popular, many of them are best sellers for the manufacturers! For the rider who won’t be hauling massive loads, won’t be mud-boggin’ or climbing the steepest hills, and is happy staying under 50 mph, these little ATVs are just perfect.
