Introducing the 2008 Can-Am DS™ 450 EFI ATV. Its radical power comes from a Rotax® engine. Its ultra light weight comes from cutting-edge computer design and fresh ideas. Its features come from the input of MX racers.

It is the new benchmark for performance, handling and control – on track and off – thanks to the most power in the class, lowest weight, most centralized mass, lowest unsprung weight, and fully-adjustable sport-tuned suspension.**

In 2007, the Can-Am® Renegade™ 800 H.O. EFI combined the performance and looks of a sport quad with the toughness and capability of a 4x4. For 2008, riders that want to carve trails or head into the backcountry where other sport ATVs don’t dare tread can now also choose a 500 H.O. EFI version. Just like its big brother, it features a powerful EFI V-twin engine, raceproven suspension, ultra-capable Visco-Lok‡ front differential and aggressive styling.

Late in 2005 I had the pleasure of getting limited seat time on the “new” Bombardier Outlander 800 EFI. In that moment I experienced what everyone was talking about. Power, power, and more stinking power! I must state for the record that my initial impressions were honestly summed up by a “holy cow”! (Ok, maybe a bit differently, but you get the picture)................

GNCC Racing Teams with BRP Can-Am for Title Sponsorship
Three-year deal draws unprecedented support for GNCC series

Morgantown, WV February 7, 2007 – Racer Productions, the producers of the Grand National Cross Country Series, and BRP Can-Am have signed a three-year agreement for title sponsorship of GNCC Racing. The Can-Am title sponsorship provides an unprecedented level of support for America’s largest off-road racing series. Through 2009, the series will be named the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series.

Look for Can-Am banners, signage and ATVs at all the GNCC races this season, including demo rides and product displays on vendor row at select events. There will also be significant coverage on the GNCCRacing.com website and the Racer TV show on Versus.

The 2007 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series begins with the Parts Unlimited Triton GNCC in Vero Beach, Florida, on March 3-6.
