Kawasaki ATV 2008 Kawasaki Teryx 750 4x4 Review

2008 Kawasaki Teryx 750 4x4 - First Ride
3/27/2008
By Adam Waheed

It's a mild, moonless February evening. I'm miles from anywhere in the star filled expanse otherwise known as Glamis-Southern California's sandy remnants of an ancient sea. The bright 40-watt halogen headlamps cut through the pitch black night, but do nothing to illuminate the dark, bottomless drop-off directly in front of me. I can't see where I'm going and under normal cir*****stances I would be wary of treading any farther. However, I've spent all sunny afternoon on the newest entry into the burgeoning Recreational Utility Vehicle (RUV) market and have yet to run into an obstacle that I couldn't surmount. So I mash the gas pedal. 'Here we go,' I say to myself right before my stomach drops and I'm pitched forward, blasting down a wall of sand.

Kawasaki ATV 2008 Kawasaki KFX 450R Test

2008 Kawasaki KFX450R - Bike Test
1/9/2008
By Billy Bartels

The world of high-performance sport ATVs is a quickly evolving one. Just four years ago there were exactly zero machines that would qualify as anything more than an inspired trail rider by today's standards. In the intervening years, Yamaha released their seminal YFZ450, Honda the TRX450R, and Suzuki the very-nearly race-ready LTZ450R. Kawasaki came to the fray a little late with its early-release 2008 KFX450R, which brings a combination of race- and trail-ready features to the mix.

Kawasaki's entry into the ultra-high-performance quad wars is a fuel-injected motocross-derived 450cc 4-stroke powerplant which is as close to race-ready...........

Kawasaki ATV 2006 Brute Force 650i Review
Posted by CanadianViking on Friday, June 09, 2006 (16:11:54) (2130 reads)

ATVScene.com has posted an excellent review of the 2006 Brute Force 650i (remember to view the video):

...I was very excited to hear the news that Kawasaki would be releasing a new 2006 Brute Force 650i. This machine was rumored to have some important mechanical changes to deal with some of the issues the 750i had. Whether those rumors were true or not, we knew the 650i would be one of those machines that we just had to throw a leg over.

Kawasaki ATV 2006 Kawasaki 650i Review by Ridgrunr

Ridgrunr posted an excellent review of his new 2006 Kawasaki Brute Force 650i...

Ok folks. Here's my impressions of the 2006 Brute Force 650i after today's 63 mile ride. Nobody seems to know much about these things yet, so this is pretty detailed.

The machines I'm comparing this with are my 2004 Rubicon, 2002 Rancher, 2 2005 Brute Force 750's, a 2005 Brute Force 650 SRA, and a 2005 Rincon.

First ergonomics: Sitting on the 650i, everything feels like it's just where it should be. Handle bars and controls are perfectly situated for my 5' 10 ". It feels slightly wider between my legs than my Rubicon, probably is. The fuel tank is beneath the right rear fender, the space where the fuel tank used to be (now for the air filter) is short, and this lets you sit a little farther forward than the Rubicon did. The seat comfortable, about as soft as my Rubicon, not as soft as a Polaris. And the seat is long so there's lots of room to move around. I can mount my Tamarack rack pack on the rear rack, and my wife can still ride with me with the pack on. I like that long seat.

Kawasaki ATV Kawasaki announces new independent 650i
Posted by CanadianViking on Friday, September 23, 2005 (12:29:32) (1292 reads)

Kawasaki’s introduction of the new Brute Force™ 650 4x4i ATV has been smoothed by the tremendous success achieved by its slightly larger brethren, the Brute Force 750 4x4i. This economical new addition to the Kawasaki family of V-twin powered sport-utility all-terrain vehicles couples the luxurious ride inherent with front and rear independent suspension and the qualities of this durable and powerful 633cc engine.
