Arctic Cat ATV 2005 Arctic Cat 650i announcement at ATV Illustrated
Posted by CanadianViking on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 (21:02:09) (1789 reads)

Arctic Cat offers its riders a choice when it comes to big-power engines: the all-new 650 H1 Hemi or the (new last year) 650 V-Twin. The H1 is a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 641cc four-stroke engine designed for massive low-end and midrange torque. The V2 is a V-twin, liquid-cooled, 633cc four-stroke engine known for its smooth power delivery and performance. Both engines have automatic transmissions and are designed to take riders through or over just about anything without so much as a whimper.

The 650 sports all-new plastic bodywork, including extra-wide fenders to protect the rider from mud and water spray, "cat-eye" headlights that add style while improving illumination and integrated full-length plastic floorboards for traction. A redesigned seat is wider for increased comfort, and a new latch allows quick removal and access to a handy tool tray.

Arctic Cat ATV Arctic Cat TRV review at ATV Illustrated
Posted by CanadianViking on Friday, May 14, 2004 (08:12:41) (2043 reads)

It's doubtful that any particular phase in the evolution of the ATV has drawn the attention of so many potential buyers as has the transition of the machine from a one- to a two-rider vehicle. Over the past two years the industry has seen an explosion in the introduction of two-rider ATVs, such as Arctic Cat's TRV, two machines from Bombardier, the Yamaha Rhino and the multitude of 4x4 cargo-utility's.

Arctic Cat ATV AC650i Review at Dirtwheels
Posted by CanadianViking on Thursday, October 16, 2003 (08:36:40) (2563 reads)

All-new V-Twin flagship

Funny how things work in the ATV business. Kawasaki sells a sport quad (the KFX400) that’s made by Suzuki. And Arctic Cat sells a utility quad whose engine is made by Kawasaki. But you know what? We’re not complaining, because the 2004 Arctic Cat 4x4 650 is one heckuva good quad!
There are two models available: the regular automatic 650 4x4 and a 650 Limited Edition. The LE has a bright lime green paint job with matching green racks, bumpers and handguards, a 2600-pound Warn winch, and chromed wheels. You can also get Arctic Cat’s Multi-Rack Platform system (MRP) with the 650.
