Here is a pic of the moose we got this season we saw 2 before this one. Saw him walking down a hill following a cow which was drinking from a pond he stopped to rub a juniper tree on the way. Nice 150yrd shot in the neck across a marsh and pond. We were able to get the atvs right to him. The sperad was 36" if I remember correctly 20 nice long even points dressed at 550 Lbs..
This is the second largest moose we have gotten the largest was 22 point 54" spread dressed 700Lbs.

the moose is not the only one with his head cut off lol.

thanks, I'm from Newfoundland. I have been eating moose at least once every week since getting it. Nice moose not too tough or strong game taste.

Here is a pic of the biggest moose we have shot in the past 15 years. It was this past fall. My brother got it at about 75 yards, I was tracking it and he moved ahead and cut it off. We had seen it 2 days before we got it. 63" at its widest point. We guessed it's weight at around 1300lbs dressed based on getting 660lbs back from the butcher at around 1/2 butchered meat to dressed weight.
About 7 years ago we got one 54" across about the same dressed weight.
