For those in the Southern Alberta area, there has been a Garmin compatible trail map around for a few years. You can read about it here.

www.calgarycachers.net...s/maps.htm

The maps overlay onto any other maps, so can be used with topo or street maps. The intent of the project is to show any "trails". These include motorized and non-motorized routes that you would not normally call a "road".

The maps do show many quad trail at the moment, but most of the contributors to date have been hikers. I just wanted to get the word out to the quad community as the quad trails really need more work. I know a lot of you guys carry a GPS and save your tracks. Send them along to the project and within a few months, they will be on the map.
