Anyone ever do any riding around the Bearberry cabins? We were thinking of heading out there for a weekend sometime, and we were wondering how the riding is. Is there any "must see" GPS points that anyone has? Thanks

Sounds like my parents and their friends are moving their trailers out to a place called the Rosewood resort, is that near there (Bearberry) as well? I know it is in the Sundre area.... I'll probably be spending a fair bit of the summer up around there, it would be sweet to have a few areas to ride, maybe even meet up with some of the guys from here for a few rides!

I believe that's south of Sundre on the Bergen Road. About 35km's from the end of the pavement in Bearberry. Lots of trails all over that area. There's been a lot of logging in that area so there's lots of logging roads too.

thanks wycked, I can't wait to get up there, I do most of my riding in the pass, so it'll be nice to ride somewhere different!

I'll be here in the spring. I live just east of Olds and used to ride west of Sundre and occasionally west of Bearberry

I know this may sound like a dumb question but........

I live on upper Bearberry Rd/Burnt Stick Lake Rd out here in Sundre. We moved out here in June of 08 and haven't done much of any riding with the club since mainly because of time and working on the property, etc.

Every weekend, we see hundreds of trucks go by our place with quads on board, where are they going? We finally are getting some time to get out and get dirty but honestly are not sure where to go.

It's sad, 2 2007 Sportsman 500's with only 50 hours each on them, time to ride!!!!

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

Homestead,

Des posted GPS tracks in this post
atvfrontier.com/Forums...39093.html

They are in the Sundre/Bearberry area. Just download the file and send to your Garmin GPS receiver and you're in business. Lots of places to go there.
Have fun!
