No one replied huh ?? I haven't been on the forum for some time myself.

But, to answer your question, I have a machined sheave on my Grizz. Best d*mn mod I've done. I got one from Fix Power Sports.

I will warn you, I've read where a few guys haven't been too pleased. But the majority of those that spent the money have been more than pleased.

You may have to play around with some different roller weights ... but dollar for dollar .... I don't think anything else you do will give you as much.

Thanks for the reply, i got the sheave kit for the rhino from fixpowersports
, don't regret spending the money for that one.
The grizzly is haft the weight, and all i want is better acceleration and more tork for my grizz, not more mph allreday fast enuff.
I just pick up two 1mm spacers and four kodiac weights today from the yamaha dealer. I may upgrade later with a sheave kit.
Just been spending to much money on that *beep* lately.

Gunny,
did you get the kit or only the sheave?
Fixpowersports has two kits on ebay, stock tire kit and big wheel kit for hundred some dollars more, you get sheave, rollers, cam plate ,shims ,and sliders.

Well Chrisfernand ... first, I ordered the complete kit for an 04 660 Rhino .... cause they didn't & as far as I know, don't make a kit or the sheave, for the 660 Grizzly.

I didn't use the rollers that came with it, cause I like heavy rollers. I did use the shims however.

I didn't get a cam plate.

Also, a few months ago, I've went with a "Greaseless Clutch" from Hunter Works. Got rollers & a new cam plate & installed it in the Fix sheave. Works great so far & no messy grease.

You should check'em out, cause they are mostly a Rhino parts place.
