Not sure where to start looking for this one , brake lever intermitently fails , goes all the way down to the bar with no pressure. Then if I pump it it's fine for a few days ;..there is no loss of fluid anywhere , which really has me stumped, I would think there would be a leakage somewhere, but nothing shows anywhere on the bike or on the garage floor.
Peddle brake has stopped working altogether , pressure doesn't come back with a pump, again no loss of fluid.
Could the rear cylinder have gone bad and cause the front lever to malfunction?
Can someone point me in the right direction before I take it apart & start spending money.. thanks guys. Yellow-biggrin

How do your front and rear pads look?
It kinda sounds like air in the system, but I can't think how unless your master cylinder is failing. At any rate, don't put yourself in a position where your saftey depends on the brakes. They could fail all together in a dangerous position.

Classic case of master cylinder failing. Pretty common in the rear brakes, not so much so in the handlebar lever.
