i got a 07 mxu 500 i have 800 miles on it theres alot of play in the rear axle like some bearings are worn out anyone know wat it could be???

Are you sure it's not your swing arm bolts i know they had a recall on the 07 models. If the swing arm bearings and nuts are ok then yes looks like rear wheel bearings are bad.

From the looks of your post and the type of quad you have, the 27" mudlites may be the problem. Oversize tires put huge amounts of stress on bearings. Good luck.

It could be both...I had the swing arm nut loose one time and had both wheel nuts loose causing same symptoms. Luckliy for me both case only required tightning things back up.

I have a brand new set of swing arm bearings if you are interested.
(they come free with the putchase of a set of ITP wheels and tires..ha ha..just kidding Yellow-biggrin )

ya i got the recall deal fixed on it so it must be the bearings. thanks for the info
