I hate to say it, but I think they will go down 4-1 in the first round. It pains me to say that, but my head's doing the talking, no my heart. Sigh.

Well, I listened to that game live (can't watch it from Down Under this week) and after the questionable 1st period, there was some real passionate play. Hmmm, might these guys surprise us? I sure hope so - Go Flames!!! (please Smile

I'm torn between what my heart wants (Flames to kick aassss) and what my brain says (they is struggling and might not make it past the first round). It's not a loyalty thing...it's just facing facts.

Okay, so after the 5-1 stink up in the Windy City, um, it would be nice to see the boys turn out for tonight's game. I'm so tired of the pre-recorded pre-and-post game interview comments - "we gotta come out and play for 60 minutes" "we gotta regroup and stay focused and bring our best game" "blah blah blah"

Just get out there and win the faacker, would ya? Or, if you ain't at all serious about the playoffs, p!ss it all away tonight and get the golf clubs out. Put us all out of our misery. Some days, it's bloody hard being a fan. Wednesday night...EASY. Saturday night. HARD.

It was absolutely embarrassing as a fan on Saturday. Don't the players know that we have friends and family cheering for other teams. We, as fans, get harrassed after games like that. Monday and Wednesday were great in the Dome, tonight should be the same...fans will be loud. They better be "up for it" tonight. It's gut check time.
