Just curious to know when you adjust your valves on a 800 cc v2 what measurment you adjust them at. I know the spec's and know about the mean value which I did to adjust them but I still hear a LITTLE tapping at lower speeds so I wonder if I should tighten them or leave them at mean value.

Now with a 2006 regular green 800cc outlander Max and with 13000 kil.so far 3 problem fixed on waranty.With vip air fairing + mirrors, a kimpex 2 seater box ,Kimpex hand and thumb warmers,garmen gpsmap cx, Moose front cargo box, and perfex skid plates + reinforced frame, JPL front and back steel bumpers.

Most valves tighten up over time from valve seat wearing.

I just had both heads off to do some port work. I adjusted both on the bench and checked them numberous times. Mine still tick also.

agree on the tightening up
checked mine because it was time and i also heard slight tapping
i found the exhaust loose but within specs and intake had no gap at all.
if yours are within spec i would leave them alone
