A friend of mine has been in an accident. He was loading stuff on a flatbed trailer when the load shifted, and part of the load fell on him, crushing his pelvis, cracking at least one vertebrae, and tearing his urethra from his bladder.
Doc says he should make a full, but slow (10+ month) recovery. 2 more weeks before they even let him sit up in bed.
Just to serve as a warning, be careful out there. They told him to wait for a loader to secure the load, but he got in a hurry, and this is the result.
