It means someone has sent you a "Private Message".
You should have a message in your inbox here on ATV Frontier.
Look at top of screen, there should be a link to your messages..something like "You have 1 message in your inbox" or something to that effect...
Also on the left side tool bar , under the "members" section is a link to your Private Messages.
