Here is the newest McLean Creek trail map. It is being updated by SRD and will likely be the framework for future changes to the McLean Creek OHV FLUZ rules.

Well, I guess the sign prohibiting driving into Elbow Falls is for real.

Are they going to put new signs up? This map isn't much good unless you really know your way around out there.

This map is from July and has been on there that long.

What is says on the bottom is: "During the Summer of 2008, volunteeers will install intersection and trail marker signs"

I have not been out there recently, but I assume we have as as well signed a trail system as the Ghost?? Puppy Dog Eyes

I have an opportunity to provide Roger M at SRD some feedback by TOMORROW on the new McLean Creek map just before it goes in for printing.

If anybody has SPECIFIC and constructive feedback about the map/trails, please post before noon Friday. Specifically looking at missing or mis-labeled trails as "motorcycle trail (blue)".

I would like to see;
Common Trail Names added to the map (Waypoint markers may supersede this)
Caution icons marked at key dangerous locations
Common landmarks; west lake, Widow maker, Boulder(rock) hill
End of Trail icon at Cobble Flats PRA
Motorcycle trail west of gravel pit changed to ATV trail
End of trail at Muskeg Creek (accessing 3-pt creek to Messa Butte)
West of Sylvester Trail (green trail) missing exit connector somewhere?

I think there might be some E>West trails on the south side of Fisher West. Currently are marked as cutlines.

What do you guys see?

There are a lot of "bike" trails on there that I always assumed were quad trails around the fischer creek unloading area. I would have to take the map out there with me to tell you which ones, but I am stuck at work today.

Yes Derik, those are the type of things that I would like to highlight to SRD, but like you I am going by memory and can't be sure which ones.
