I have a 92 350 BB 4x4 that needs a starter. I removed the "new" starter from a donor ATV with no oil in it. My question is do i need to drain my oil in order to change the starter?

NO...just unbolt and replace...

yup i resolved this about a month or two ago Yellow-surprised the biggest pain was lining up the gear on the starter. thaks for the reply though!
