Jetmoto Standard, Sport Hunter, ATV 250
Model; YMT-250ST-A, 2005
Engine; 253FMM85C00006
Frame; JMTA250C5000574
Here is the big problem; The rear axle is poorly designed and anything more that a light torque load will cause the forward gear inside the differential to strip. This ATV works fine as long as you do not exceed a quarter throttle or try anything other than flat, smooth terrain. After only a half hour use, the new $350 replacement rear axle is starting to show the same symptoms as the original rear axle. If torque limits are exceeded it may break gear teeth off the forward gear and idler gear. Jetmoto does not guarantee their replacement parts to work and is completely ignorant of these design deficiencies. Jetmoto will not rectify this situation and stuck me with a defective $350 axle.

Remember folks, Reserch reserch. How many Dealers in your area and else where, Does Dealer have parts in house! Any good Dealer or Distributor will offer 6 months warranty on their products!!! How long has the Dealer and their products been in Canada. Some good examples of good companys with history. Panterra,Jianshe,Midwest,Eton. and there may be a few others but my point is only buy products that have managed to be consistently stick it out and grow their Dealer networks. And again I repeat ask about warranty!! and it's best to buy from a shop with an actual store front and a shop that has qualified mechanics to do the warranty work as well as any future problems that could arise.A good example of this are the huge store chains that sell atv's, usually offer NO warranty, no parts or service..Period. So spend the little extra and buy from some of the more reputible import Dealers.
