Pretty impressive quad in my honest opinion. I would venture to say this will be a Raptor700 killer, not to mention give the Renegade 800 a serious run for its money and or be faster.

Thoughts on the IRS and exactly what target group Honda is looking at going after with this quad?


Weasel

I have a hard time seeing it beat a Raptor at the Raptor's game. This machine leans more to rough trail riding than the Raptor, which I think it will excel at. The Raptor is significantly lighter, and the motor is probably more powerful. For more sporting applications (dunes, smooth trails, MX), I think the Raptor will be faster. But for rough trails that would eat a sport quad alive but don't require 4 wheel drive, the Honda will be the bees knees. I actually ride these kinds of trails often, so this kind of machine would be a good fit. I could see this finding a home next to my Grizzly.

i think if honda went with a straight rear axle, it'll blow the raptor out of the water. and u dont need IRS, the exception is the extremely techincal trails. i ride a 450R and i keep up with dirt bikes out in the desert. i guess its depends on the rider.

I just talked to a dealer that has them in stock and he said 8499$!
