Not like the electronic guages are very accurate, I kind of liked the old fashion float gauge, least you had a pretty good idea how much fuel you had left.

The float guage will be rite on the money. The dig. guage likes to say your low on fuel and still have almost 1/4 of a tank of fuel left. But its nice to hav dig although

Never had a problem with the float guage. Really how hard is it to look over and see how much fuel you have onboard.

I have 2 2005's one of them is sticky, I need to pull it out and spread the bars a little, but I don't mind the floaters.

check out the pics of the new 400 08s above and look at the red one, it has the exhaust on the other side and the same display as the 800s and what i think says efi sticker on the side by the handle bars.

Yes in that picture the exhaust is on the left hand side on the 400, but on the canam website its doesnt show the rear end very good so you cant tell if its on that side or not. It does look like the sticker kinda maybe says efi but also again on the website it shows the 400 as being carbed. maybe a late release 400 efi coming. Smile

Who Cares about a Fuel gauge.. the old one works fine..

WHEN IS AN OEM GOING TO PUT A COOLANT TEMP GUAGE ON A QUAD!!

Running in mud you will overheat 10 times before even thinking of running out of gas!!

I agree with Gypsy400 a OE installing a stock temp gauge would make to much sense though .

The digital electronic gauges read great, just not many people RTFM ( read the ------ manual ) so they do not know why the light comes on when it does.

The light comes on when you have 1/3 of a tank left !

If you look at the 4th last and 5th last picture of the 08 400 on here which are side profiles the engine areas are different, also the red one has the gas tank on the left hand side which only the v-twins have and also it doesn't really look like it has a choke lever. I really want to know what is going on here now.

You will also notice a sticker near the key area on the red one.. probably says "EFI"
