Got a guy here that has a 500 Quadmaster that every once in a while will just quit & won't start till you leave it for a while.
Everything checks out. While it's deff NOT overheating I'm beginning to think if it has a faulty overheating sensor it may be the problem?
Anybody know if this thing has one? what or where would I find it?

Cranks & turns over just won't start.
I haven't been there when it does it, & of course I can't make it do it.
But I would assume it's got no fire as carb is perfect & runs perfect otherwise.

Thanks

Vapor lock? My Kodiak would do that to me in hot weather....especially if I ran it slower, like on tight technical trails etc..., and did not get good air flow past the engine, it would cause vapor lock and stall dead right where I was. The only thing I could do was sit and wait for it to clear and then fire it up again. 5-10 minutes wait.

Does your friend's situation sound similar?
