just wanted to update ranger owners. my 2005, carb. version.500.
had loss of power and could not find answers. finally found problem.!! smallrubber cap on vent tube on top of carb was rotten and would not hold vacume and thus the jet rod would would not rise enough for full throttle.
just passing along a hint.
