The Ground Clearance and suspension travel Rocks!
I was in between an IRS Suzuki and a honda. We were just HAULING over a rocky section. (note: no blind corners etc) I decided what the heck, it's not going to stay scratch free forever and gave er heck.
There were sparks galore coming from the other 2 machines, and the honda guy put a major dent in the bottom of his machine and then backed off.
The cat just handled it and felt right at home, not even coming close to bottoming out. I can see why these things did so well on the Quad terrain challenge.
Why do you love your Kitty?

Looks good DiscoCat. When a thread with this title was on A.Chat my reply was "It doesn't get stuck where my other ATV's did- period."
Same sentiment as you. Rocks-logs-mud- whatever.
I LOVE that orange 700. Looks sharp with the XTR's.

Steve and kansas thanks!
That H1 is a mean machine. Better CV intakes and exhaust locations than the 7.

This is why. The suspension is what makes the cats so great then its just a matter of choosing your power source you want.

Hoopie - Nice Pics, really shows off the travel.
That course looks like fun. I take it it was a timed event?

Yes it was timed and points were taken off if you went out of bounds anywhere. It was a tight course but a lot of fun. Really technical and the cat did great.

Tough, tough, and tough. Did I mention tough? Don't forget that 6.5 gal gas tank that makes a long day on the trail not one you have to carry gas for! Love the heavy duty racks and speedpoint. Like the 2'' receiver too.
