400ho clutch kit

Hey guys well if you've been helping me out with my questions i just bought a 400ho last saturday. its a week old but later in the future i will be adding mods to it. my first question will it void my warranty? also i found this link. www.daltonindustries.c...chkits.htm it says no top speed is loss but increase in low end. i thought i was told you lose about 10mph? do you lose any or not?

You wont loose top speed with the Dalton and its a great investment. I love it.

My dad did lost about 2-3kmph when he put a clutch kit on his Outlander 400, and I lost 2kmph on my Kodiak 450 when i put an EPI clutch kit in it. So it's nothing noticable.

well..if it does...it only voids any clutch parts i believe...the best way to find out is to call and ask your dealer..or even better call brp themselves

No, it wont void the warranty, yes it will HELP the clutch and No, no wheelies with the Dalton without a bit of help.

Yes it will void the warranty if the dealer knows it's in there but most of them are not smart enough to know. If it was me I would buy the Heelclicker.

Isn't Heelclicker clutch kit for Polaris only? If not where can you get it? The website only list Polaris.

My dealer and the man that made the Dalton clutch kit told me that It "would not" void the warranty. Definitly worth looking into. I agree though, most wouldnt know.

Anybody in Canada East coast interested in doing a group buy on the Dalton Clutch kit for the Outie 400? I have seen on some other sites that a purchase of 15 kits got a purchase price of 165 US Delivered.

So far it's only 4 of us guys. We need a few more bodies before we can have enought to get a group buy discount from a dealer. Any body else interested in a group buy for the Dalton Clutch kit? It's the single best mod you can ever do! You would be able to make the outie do wheelies!
