thanks a lot. i was wondering haven't opened her up yet all the way, but when i get on it a little the front fells like it lifts up a little. when opened up all the way will it come off the ground a little in the front? just asking because there is a lot of pep in this motor for a 400 i think.

It certainly has alot of zip for a 400, but I don't think your going to see the front end lift off the ground. If you do, you have one strong Outie there. Mine won't wheelie even when I try to but is faster than my Kodiak 450.. which will wheelie by the way.

Mine wheelies, finally after some practice I can get the front end up. I need a lil' nob or hill to do it though. Once the front end goes up when in high range I can go for a long time.

The front ends og the 400's is very soft so when you punch it the back end sinks and the front end extends out so it might feel like the front end is coming up. With a slight hill the front end should come up with a bit of weight shifting.

when broken in will the atv gain a couple mph's top end? this 400ho climbs to 62mph but i let off because wasn't broken in. Just wondering because what i've been told people were only hitting 60mph. either i broke this atv in right or the 07's are faster. i'm pretty sure i can hit 65mph because it climbs to 62mph quick what ya think? Did i get lucky and got a good one or did i break this one in right?

We could say QUOT All of these answers. Personally I don't think it does 65 miles per hour unless you were going downhill and if you check with GPS you will realise that the speedo is not accurate. My max does around 85 kil. per hour on flat roads and got it to 90 kil. on a little downhill. My speedo shows about 6 to 7 kil. higher than my GPS.
