Well I had 5,865 miles on my old 2001 Rancher................never had any troubles with it..............paid $4,800 for it new back in 01 and sold it yesterday for $3,250.....................so it cost me $1,550 for 6 years of fun.
The guy who bought it has an old 300 honda 4x4 with 35,000 miles on it...........the dealer took 2 2003 Ranchers on trade a while back that had 36,000 and 37,000 miles on them (Huge farm quads)
I have had good luck with Honda and so have alot of guys I ride with.

Kenny thats the 2wd/4wd select lever.....my old Rancher was full time 4wd and this new one is sporty with the 2wd option.
I logged 70 miles on it today and had a blast with it........I'm running 26 inch MTR's on it and it pulls them well. (It came with 24 inch tires stock)
I spent about 1/2 the day with the front end pointed skyward.....this new rancher is a blast to wheelie
Going to take it up into the snow thats left above 5,000 feet tomorrow.......should be a good ride and it will let me know if its as good in the snow as the old 2001 was.
