Make sure your oil looks clean and isn't milky.

As others have stated check the electrical systems out (good time to put dielectric grease in the connections).

Check your oil NOW! These v twins seem to hate getting wet and if it is not changed if it has any water in it you will be looking at a lower end rebuild really quick.

Might take as many as eight or nine (my personal record on my old big bear) oil changes to get all the water out. Keep changing it till it comes out clean with no milk and then for good measure its not a bad idea to change it again after a few miles.

Thanks a lot guys. I took a look at the oil and it looks pretty kleen but its due for change in about 30 hours or so, I think I will change it now to be safe. Thanks again, I wondered about the electrical, So just greese all the connections and that should be good a?

Yup grease all your electrical plugs on your bike including your gauge pod.
If your going to be going deep often, you may think about added protection such as snorkels.
