#1: 03 Honda Rincon braking problem Author: Pnormous, Location: Mooreville, MSPosted: Wed Jul 29, 2009 8:30 pm ---- My front brake pads are new, my brakes still have to be pumped twice to stop and yet the brake lever still goes all the way to the handle bar. I have bled them like crazy, even used a suction device, any comments or suggestions? I changed my rear brakes 2 weeks ago and they were perfect, until I took it out in waist deep mud,water well to the mud pit.. ect. I washed them with a pressure washer and then with a sprayer at home, but they are still spongy, dont really stop me at all. Does anyone have an idea what the problem maybe?

On the rear brakes, the left front handle bar lever is like squeezing a sponge and it slowly comes back to place...and it doesnt stop me at all.

They sit at 3 o clock and 9 o clock.
unless you adjust those you wont have any brakes.
