WOW! Voo Pretty ambitious project. How are things looking so far?

I would like to do this on my old kitty but haven't found time. Have the powder coat sprayer, but I don't have a way to sand blast. What are you using to sand blast?

Tri, im paying someone to do the sand blasting. I was going to powder coat. But it is way out of my budget.

holy smokes, that is an ambitious project! I bet the ol' Cat looks better than new when you are finished!

You know, it seems that more and more people are trading-in their ATVs sooner now than ever before. It would be great if we would see more owners keep their ATVs for longer and do some work like this to keep them in top shape. Maybe Voodoo's work will inspire others to do the same on their "experienced" ATV Smile

I purchased a powder coat kit from eastwood a couple years ago, www.eastwoodco.com/jum...105&KICKER It works good for smaller items the size you can powder coat is only limited to the size oven you have. I have an old oven I got for nothing set up in my shop. Just need to get some type of sand blaster to clean the parts properly.

Nope no issues other then a lot of broken bolts etc... typical for the age and style of riding i did. Lots of tap n die :] The motor runs perfect so no issues there.

Hi boaty... any software running that blocks pictures? Are they showing as a red X? You seem to be theonly one... they are posted via ATVF so all members should see them?
