esp won't down shift if brake light swicht is ON example if you want to
down shift from neutral to reverse. If I disconnect brake light switch everythings works normal. I Had a trouble code no. 42. that indicate
a esp shift switch circuit trouble. I doubt that since it seems that the
signal voltage for that circuit from the ECM is non existent when the
brake light switch circuit is in use. P.S. all the connectors and continuity
of the wires have been checked. Any body encontered the same
problem here. Thanks

I found the problem, an open circuit on the esp switchs circuit.
