Yep, same here but the rut is when they make mistakes and come out during the day etc...
I just got word from my Taxidermist today (whom is a SCI Official Scorer) that my 10 pt Typical buck green scored (unofficially) at 133 7/8 and may be eligible for the P&Y record books. It has a 13 3/8 inside spread and is estimated at 3 ½ years old. I’m going to look into getting it officially scored by P&Y and Commemorative Bucks of Michigan after the drying period.
I still can't believe it!!! |
UPDATE:
My Buck ended up with a gross score of 133 5/8 netting 129 7/8 P&Y.
It is now entered into the P&Y and Commemorative Bucks of MI record books and is still at the Taxidermists getting a shoulder mount.
I hope to see another comparable some day while hunting...
