Hi all...I have a 2005 Trail Buck 650EX that won't start. I found this video on youtube and my bike is doing the exact same thing. The person that shot the video said it was a bad rod bearing but I am not convinced. My bike has been at the shop now for 2 weks and they rebuilt the carberator but the bike will still not start. Without taking the motor out of the bike they seem to think it is something internal but are not sure what. Anyone have a similiar problem or solution?

First thing if not already done is check compression. Check valve timing to see if at t.d.c the valves are closed and while at it ajust them.Another thing to check since it seems to start but dies is the feul pump because they are vacuum operated and maybe a cracked hose or faulty pump. How about the ignition coil is it good.

Why is this thread in a Can-Am forum??
Because the john deere buck is a bombardier quest or traxter and they are not numerous so when they need info they come to the BRP site which we encourage them to do.
