Would anyone out there know the GPS Coordinates for the ICE CAVES on this mountain. Referred to as Canyon Ceek Ice Cave, Bragg Creek Ice Cave and sometimes incorrectly referred to as "Ing's Mine, (coal mine).

I recall someone telling me a couple years back that the gov. had closed the entrance to it? See if you can check that out.

Access to the Ice Cave, discovered in 1905 was blocked during the year 2000. Several accidents had been reported there causing its closure. Apparently they just blocked the Canyon Creek Road close to hwy 66.

You park near the gate to the Canyon creek road and walk or bike down the road (6.5 km) to the caves. Can't miss them.

I have never been in the area , but a friend of mine was there many years ago , and I just wanted to locate them for him on a map/Google Earth., but for some reason no one seemes to have the exact GPS location for them. the article that you posted does not have the GPS cordinates available.

I was interested because of the proximity to Elbow falls and McLean Creek and I had not heard of it.
