I was riding my 2007 Brute 650 today when it stalled and wont restart. It was running fine just died in the middle of the trail. Seems like its not getting any spark. After towing it home we poured a little gas in the carb and turned it over. It just turns over. no reaction to the gas.

Any suggestions??

Pull one of the spark plugs and see if you get any spark when you crank it over....

If no spark check -

1) Kill switch
2) Fuse
3) Shorted ignition wire
4) Module

I took the rear plastics off (for easy viewing of the wiring) and was checking the spark and it started. It was probably a short, but I can't find it. I sprayed it down with water and wiggled lots of wires with it running...didn't stall.

Someone told me to check the engine down switch, but I'm not sure where that is.
