I remember seeing one of those when I was a kid. It was an advertisement on TV. In the early 80's I think. Have yet to see one in my area yet. It looks heavy!

Depends on what you call heavy. At ~ 200lbs, it's quite a bit more manageable than a quad. Tows up to 3k, hauls 1k, and the current models have either a 4 stroke kohler or a honda engine.

Sure it's not quad, but it's apples and oranges. I"ve been on one and there are many things that a rokon can do and places it can go that my wheeler can not.

There are several dealers in Alberta & BC and one in Sask. I guess you don't see them because they just stay off-road... Wink In Quebec the 4 wheeler clubs won't let us on the trails because they say they'd have to let the crossers on them too and the motocrossers tend to tear up the trails, are noisy and too fast... All things the Rokons are not... So we just stay off the trails and in the bush. Actually I can go up & down the mountain bike trails without a sweat... Smile

You can see my photos on Flickr and videos on Youtube. Look for "RokonDealer"...

Greg Lightfoot in Kitscoty AB has a video out for Rokon.

I should have got a Rokon 30 years ago...
