Kawasaki ATV 2008 Kawasaki Teryx 750 4x4 Review

2008 Kawasaki Teryx 750 4x4 - First Ride
3/27/2008
By Adam Waheed

It's a mild, moonless February evening. I'm miles from anywhere in the star filled expanse otherwise known as Glamis-Southern California's sandy remnants of an ancient sea. The bright 40-watt halogen headlamps cut through the pitch black night, but do nothing to illuminate the dark, bottomless drop-off directly in front of me. I can't see where I'm going and under normal cir*****stances I would be wary of treading any farther. However, I've spent all sunny afternoon on the newest entry into the burgeoning Recreational Utility Vehicle (RUV) market and have yet to run into an obstacle that I couldn't surmount. So I mash the gas pedal. 'Here we go,' I say to myself right before my stomach drops and I'm pitched forward, blasting down a wall of sand.

Honda ATV 2008 Honda TRX700XX Review

2008 Honda TRX700XX - First Ride
4/15/2008
By Adam Waheed (motorcycleusa.com)

Bigger is better right? Well, at least that's what I kept repeating to myself over and over shortly after I received my First Ride orders on Honda's all-new '08 TRX700XX. And with Honda's assertion that their new sport quad features their largest, most powerful four-stroke Single they've ever produced, my concern was certainly warranted. I mean c'mon, does the ATV world really need an almost 700cc sport quad?

Accessories Kolpin Saw Press II review
Posted by CanadianViking on Friday, March 14, 2008 (15:59:56) (123 reads)

One of the great features of Side-by-Side utility vehicles is their ability to carry out a wide variety of tasks. While most of us are using UTVs for recreational use, UTVs are becoming extremely popular for dedicated tasks such as search & rescue and trail maintenance....

When it came to equipping our Rhino, we knew we wanted to add a chainsaw. Chainsaws are an amazing trail maintenance tool (along with a shovel). Deciding on which chainsaw to go with wasn’t easy – there are many excellent manufacturers and lots to choice available to the consumer. We’ve always been fans of Husqvarna chainsaws based on their excellent quality and customer support....

Having decided on our chainsaw, we turned our attention to finding a means to haul/carry the tool. By their very design, chainsaws are awkward to carry and can take up a lot of space on your ATV rack or UTV bed. We wanted to find a storage solution that would keep the saw secure and out of the way, but also easy and convenient to access. Having already had excellent luck with their FUEL PACK, we decided to see what KOLPIN had to offer in way of a chainsaw carrier.

Since 1943 Kolpin has been developing high quality, innovative products for the outdoors enthusiast. Kolpin Powersports is one of the pioneers of ATV & UTV accessories and they offer a wide selection of accessories ranging from basket racks to gun boots. For 2007 they released their new Saw Press II Bracket. The Saw Press II is an evolution of their highly successful original Saw Press and is being offered in two versions; ATV mount (model 20044) and UTV mount (model 200429). Since this was intended to be mounted on our Yamaha Rhino, we decided on the UTV mount version. Kolpin accessories can be ordered through most dealers and distributors or directly from Kolpin via their online store.

Accessories Dry Storage Bazooka
Posted by CanadianViking on Friday, March 14, 2008 (15:59:30) (117 reads)

When ATVing, one thing you can never have too much of is dry storage. Most of us add boxes or bags to our front or rear racks and most ATVs come with some sort of storage compartment. While these items provide storage, true “dry storage” is much harder to achieve.

With basic tools and supplies from your local hardware store you can build your own dry “Storage Bazooka”. These tubes are tough, completely water proof and easy to mount to your ATV (or side x side).

If you are looking for a dry storage solution for your ATV or Side x Side, the “Storage Bazooka” is an effective, inexpensive and fun way to build your own dry storage.

You can read the complete "how to" article in our HERE.

Hauling Toystacker - For hauling and storing your ATV
Posted by Ronin on Friday, March 14, 2008 (00:07:56) (196 reads)

Check out the new products from toystacker.com:

Products range from SideLoaders to fit 2 ATV's in a Truck Bed, Foldable Ramps, to our flagship product called ToyStacker.

Toy Stacker is an A-Frame Structure that allows a person to stack their quad upright in a truck or trailer, reducing the footprint of their quad, thus saving tons of space for more quads or cargo. In most cases, a person can get 1 to 2 extra quads in their space by using ToyStacker.

Our products solve space issues and challenges when transporting toys. Don't haul with out it!
